As Nigeria joins the global community to combat climate change, several initiatives have been underway by the government and private sector to address these issues. The recently concluded COP28 negotiations also dwelled on tackling climate change. An indigenous climate advocacy firm, Civil Alliance for Climate Protection and Education, is on the frontlines of combating climate change in Nigeria through education and awareness initiatives.
