Could This End the Sector’s Metering Problems?

admin June 15, 2020

Background

Since its inception, the meter asset provider scheme has faced different phases of challenges, causing the rollout of meters to customers to stall – the most popular being the 35% hike in import duties for meters last year. Recently, the regulator increased the price of the meters by 23% due to the devaluation of the naira.

In this episode, Mr Samuel Dangana, Managing Director, MERON Nigeria Ltd. analyses the present situation and the potential effect of the price increase on metering.
