Synopsis:

Did you know that over 80 million Nigerians are still living in total darkness? These people are not connected to the Electricity grid, neither do they have any source of electricity. They still depend on candles, kerosene lamps and firewood for their domestic activities. In the case where there are commercial activities where machines have to be operated, they have to depend solely on petrol/diesel generators.

Speaker: Eme Kponu, Off-grid Energy Business Consultant, Off-Grid Advisor, Nigeria Power Sector Programme (NPSP), Power Africa. A United States Agency for International Development (USAID) sponsored programme.
